It is awesome that we can now link progress on this warbox to wechall. It's probably asking a lot, but is there any way we can confirm which of the challenges have been logged as completed? For example I'm not sure if my efforts to link Bandit 18 have gone through correctly but I'm not sure how to check this.

Thanks!!!

At first I thought, why not just try it again, but then I realized what challenge bandit18 was... I guess there is a way to make sure it gets solved, but I didn't make it so far...

But I have another question, which I don't want to spend another topic on:

How do I actually get points for the natas challenges? After solving some of them I tried to connect over SSH as usual, but it doesn't work as expected.
- Using "natas.labs.overthewire.org" I get an error message telling me that the host doesn't exist...
- Using "natas1.natas.labs.overthewire.org" as host I get a login, but the given password does not grant me access...

Is it so obvious? Thx in advance!

There is a link in the "Warboxes" section of your profile for natas, get there and mark them manually as solved with the solution string/password.

I will work more on the warbox stuff this weekend and code up some views for the warboxes of a site.
Showing the level overview surely will come soon.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thx, I guess I could have found that one...

Well, in return I have two little reports:
1. If you give the wrong pass, the error message is "wong".
2. The order of the challenges is somewhat out of order which quickly brings you to report one... Smile

bye, tripleedged

Hello,
Since there is no user registration in over the wire, how do we link the score there to wechall? I am confused..

A bit late, but there is new stuff!

There is now an overview of the particular warboxes available on a site, you can find them in the site details.

Navigate to OTWdetails, then click warboxes, then follow the instructions.

More stuff will follow!

Happy Challenging

There seems to be a bug in the bandit section solution validation. I just solved bandit10 and I wanted to try submission from the boxes here. I got a WONG reply. Then, I wanted to submit the solution manually and now I get "you already solved this challenge" msg from the terminal but I got no points.
